What's Happened Since High School

2000: Milked cows until 1996. Married in 1976, have four children by the first marriage. Married for the second time in 1992 to a wonderful woman, named Jan, moved to Alberta, cows & 7 semi loads of equipment, in 1995. Hit two of Alberta's worst winters in history. Retired from milking in 1996, and am now selling real estate with Re/Max.

2010: Since our last reunion, Jan & I sold our acreage and moved into Calgary. I no longer sell real estate, but do construction, mostly home renovations. Since our last reunion, our family has grown as 5 of our 7 kids are now married, and we have 4 grandchildren, ranging between 1 & 3 years old. The grandchildren have changed our perspective on life; where does all of the love for these little people come from? Do they create it? Or bring it with them when they arrive?

We still travel, but have ventured out of Mexico. We spent some time in Europe where I got a speeding ticket on the Autobahn. We enjoyed the beer in Germany, the wine in Italy, touring the Vatican, and survived driving through Pompeii without getting a scratch on the car. We've cruised the Panama Canal, and most recently spent a couple of glorious weeks in the Dominican Republic.

Other Comments

2000: Travel to Mexico at least once a year for holidays. Ain't life grand!!

Attended the Friday and Saturday evening events in 2000.

2010: We still get back to the Island several times a year to visit friends & family, and I'm looking forward to seeing our fellow alumni.

It's interesting to read the bios of other classmates to see what they've been up to! Looking forward to seeing you in July!
