What's Happened Since High School |
I've operated my own business on and off since 1975. Shifted my career focus from Building Technology to Marketing in the mid-to-late 80s and completed a 3 year diploma program at UBC in Marketing & Sales Management.
Marika and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary this year... it's wonderful to have such a good life partner. Raised a great family... Melisa graduating from UBC (Human Kinetics + Education) and getting married to Ryan Ververgaert in 2005, and more recently starting their family with the birth of Ashton James in January 2010; Kevin graduated from Grade 12 and still exploring his career options. All great kids!
Volunteer work has had a lot to do with fly fishing... as Editor, BC Federation of Fly Fishers for 5+ years; Trout Unlimited Canada - British Columbia as Marketing Director for 2+ years.
Life generally has been very full and enriching. |

I enjoyed the 30th and 20th Reunions of the CSSS Class of 1970... it's a great way to reconnect with everyone who attended and to catch up on what's happened since graduating high school and between reunions!
I attended Friday and Saturday night events for our 30th. Aside from rekindling acquaintances, playing live music with Dean Paterson and his band on Saturday night was awesome! |
